Refrigerant R-404A

Residential and Commercial Air Conditioning Gas

R-404A is a pseudo-azeotropic HFC blended refrigerant composed of R-125, R-143a, and R-134a.

It is specially designed for low and medium temperature commercial refrigeration applications and is widely used as a replacement for ozone-depleting refrigerants such as R-22 and R-502.

R-404A provides reliable cooling performance, stable temperature control, and excellent efficiency in commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. Most modern supermarket refrigeration systems and refrigeration units are designed to operate with HFC refrigerants like R-404A.

Usage Information

R-404A requires Polyol Ester (POE) oil for proper system compatibility.
As a pseudo-azeotropic refrigerant blend, R-404A should always be charged in the liquid phase.
Ensure all servicing tools and refrigeration systems are compatible with R-404A operating pressures.
R-404A Refrigerant conforms to international quality standards as per AHRI-700.
